July 1 is Canada Day, a time to celebrate Canada's history, people, and the diverse communities that continue to shape our nation.
Canada's strength comes from the many cultures, languages, traditions, and experiences that contribute to its identity. Across the country, people gather to celebrate community, reflect on shared values, and appreciate the opportunities that Canada offers.
At KLHIISA (Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Integrated Immigrant Services Association), we are honoured to support newcomers and immigrants as they build successful lives and become active members of our communities.
Canada Day reminds us that welcoming newcomers, fostering inclusion, and building connections are essential to creating stronger communities for everyone.
As we celebrate this Canada Day, we thank the many individuals, families, volunteers, community partners, and organizations who work every day to make our communities welcoming places where everyone belongs.
From everyone at KLHIISA, we wish you a safe, joyful, and Happy Canada Day!
